April 9, 2026 9:07 AM

SoundHound AI Inc. (NASDAQ: SOUN) announced a partnership with Associated Carrier Group, a member organization representing Tier 2 and Tier 3 mobile network operators and resellers. The collaboration aims to provide AI-powered customer service and employee experience solutions to telecommunications companies.

Under the agreement, SoundHound AI becomes the exclusive provider of agentic AI platform services to ACG members. The platform is designed to help telecommunications operators handle customer service inquiries through AI agents that can resolve issues across voice and digital channels without human intervention.

The AI system combines automatic speech recognition, generative AI, and multi-agent coordination to process customer requests. According to the company, the platform can handle complex, multi-step interactions and execute transactions while reducing the need for customers to navigate traditional phone menus.

"Customer service is one of the biggest opportunities large telcos have when it comes to AI transformation," said Patrick Caustrita, AVP of Enterprise Sales at SoundHound AI. "Through our partnership with ACG, we're enabling carriers to deploy AI agents that don't just answer questions — they resolve issues end-to-end."

Russ Lipinski, President at Associated Carrier Group, stated that the partnership gives ACG members "access to AI that can handle real customer needs — reducing pressure on support teams while improving the overall subscriber experience."

ACG represents telecommunications companies that operate in competitive markets where customer service costs and efficiency are significant operational factors. The organization focuses on helping member companies reduce costs through volume purchasing and technology sharing.

SoundHound AI provides voice and conversational AI solutions across multiple industries including retail, financial services, healthcare, automotive, and telecommunications.
