ServiceNow integrates AI across entire product portfolio

April 9, 2026 9:02 AM

ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) announced that its complete product portfolio will include AI capabilities as standard features rather than separate purchases. The company said every ServiceNow product now includes AI, data connectivity, workflow execution, security, and governance built-in.

The company introduced Context Engine, which provides enterprise context for AI agent decisions by connecting relationships, policy, and decision history. Context Engine draws from ServiceNow's Service Graph, Knowledge Graph, and data inventory to access enterprise signals including identity relationships, asset dependencies, and business intelligence.

ServiceNow also unveiled Build Agent skills, which will be available to developers on April 15. These tools allow developers to build using existing development environments including Antigravity, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, and Windsurf, then deploy directly to the ServiceNow AI Platform. Customers will receive 100 free Build Agent calls, while personal developer instances will include 25 free Build Agent calls.

The company introduced Enterprise Service Management Foundation for midsize companies, combining IT, HR, legal, finance, procurement, and workplace services on the ServiceNow AI Platform. This offering can be deployed within weeks according to the company.

"ServiceNow AI deflects 70% of our employee requests before human intervention is needed — across IT, HR, and Legal. We reduced manual effort by 2,200 hours across 1,300 tickets monthly," said Jay Hammonds, head of Technology Operations at Robinhood.

The new packaging model and ESM Foundation are available for all customers. Context Engine is available for preview with select customers, with full availability details to be announced later. The company processes 85 billion workflows and seven trillion transactions annually on its platform.
