WW International Inc. (NASDAQ: WW) announced it will offer access to Eli Lilly and Company's newly FDA-approved oral GLP-1 medication Foundayo (orforglipron) through its Med+ program and affiliated medical groups.

The once-daily, injection-free medication is approved for adults with obesity or who are overweight with weight-related medical problems. Weight Watchers Med+ members who are clinically eligible will receive access to the medication alongside care from board-certified clinicians, insurance support, and additional treatment support tools.

For members choosing self-pay options, pricing will start at $149 per month for the lowest dose, with pricing varying by dose level. All Med+ members receive access to the Weight Watchers GLP-1 Success program to support treatment before, during, and after medication use.

According to the company, Med+ members prescribed a GLP-1 who regularly engaged with the GLP-1 Success Program for 12 months lost 29.1% more body weight on average than those who did not engage in behavioral support.

"As the weight health landscape evolves, it's important that people have access to a broad range of FDA-approved treatment options that reflect different needs, preferences, and routines," said Scott Honken, Chief Commercial Officer at Weight Watchers.

Laura Steele, Group Vice President of U.S. Cardiometabolic Health at Lilly, stated that the company is committed to expanding access to treatments that meet the diverse needs of people living with obesity.

The addition of Foundayo expands Weight Watchers' portfolio of FDA-approved oral GLP-1 treatments within its clinically supported program framework.
