ZenaTech completes 21st acquisition with Oregon surveying firm
ZenaTech Inc. (NASDAQ: ZENA) completed its 21st acquisition by purchasing Andy Paris & Associates, a land surveying firm based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, according to a company statement. The acquisition expands ZenaTech's drone-as-a-service network in the Pacific Northwest region.
Andy Paris & Associates, founded in 1952, provides boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys for commercial and infrastructure development customers across Oregon and Washington states. The firm will complement ZenaTech's existing Portland area operations.
"Strengthening the Pacific Northwest operations puts us right at the intersection of forestry and environmental monitoring, critical energy infrastructure, and ports and logistics surveillance, which is exactly where Drone as a Service delivers the most value for mission-critical operations," said Shaun Passley, ZenaTech CEO.
ZenaTech operates a drone-as-a-service platform that provides subscription and usage-based access to drone services including surveying, inspection, maintenance, and inventory management for business and government clients. The company aims to integrate its ZenaDrone technology to automate traditional workflows while providing centralized data analytics.
The acquisition brings ZenaTech's total to 24 international drone-as-a-service locations. The company's strategy involves purchasing established service companies to build a network anchored by existing customer relationships and revenue streams.
ZenaTech specializes in AI drone technology, enterprise software solutions, and quantum computing applications. The company trades on NASDAQ under the ticker ZENA and also lists on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Mexican Stock Exchange.
