Oracle launches AI-powered HR applications with automated decision-making
Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) announced the launch of Fusion Agentic Applications for HR, a new class of enterprise applications that use coordinated teams of AI agents to automate human resources processes. The applications were introduced at the Oracle AI World Tour in New York.
The new applications are built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and can make and execute decisions within business processes by accessing enterprise data, workflows, policies, approval hierarchies, and permissions. The system operates on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and extends the company's existing cloud applications suite.
Eight applications are now available within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management, including a Career Advancement Command Center for HR leaders to promote career mobility, a Contract Compliance Workspace for automated contract execution, and a Hiring Workspace for retail store managers to streamline recruiting processes.
Additional applications include a Manager Concierge Workspace for team decision-making, a My Help Workspace for employee issue resolution, a Team Learning Workspace for skill development monitoring, a Team Talent Calibration workspace for talent reviews, and a Workforce Operations Command Center for scheduling and absence management.
"HR leaders and managers are being asked to deliver better employee experiences, make faster decisions, and support compliance efforts, all while operating with leaner teams and more complex policies," said Chris Leone, executive vice president of Applications Development at Oracle.
The applications operate within Oracle Fusion Applications' existing security framework and can autonomously handle routine work while surfacing exceptions that require human judgment. The system is supported by Oracle AI Agent Studio, which includes an Agentic Applications Builder for organizations to create custom AI automation without traditional application development.
