Freshworks names Kuntal Vahalia as SVP of global channels and alliances
Freshworks Inc (NASDAQ: FRSH) appointed Kuntal Vahalia as Senior Vice President, Partnership Channel, the software company announced. Vahalia will lead the company's global partner strategy and execution as Freshworks focuses on expanding into larger enterprise markets and its employee experience business segment.
Vahalia will report to Chief Revenue Officer Ian Tickle and oversee partnerships with global system integrators. The appointment comes as Freshworks' employee experience business, which includes IT service and asset management solutions, surpassed $500 million in annual recurring revenue with 26% year-over-year growth as of the fourth quarter of 2025.
The new hire brings two decades of experience in scaling software-as-a-service companies through partner ecosystems. Vahalia previously served as SVP of Global Channels and Alliances at Anaplan, where he led partner model transformation and worked with global system integrators. His career includes leadership positions at Salesforce, MuleSoft, and ThoughtSpot.
"Partners are a core pillar of our growth strategy as we continue to scale upmarket and expand globally," Tickle stated. "Kuntal brings deep ecosystem experience that will help us expand into larger markets and build even stronger relationships with global system integrators."
At Freshworks, Vahalia will collaborate with go-to-market, sales, and operations teams to strengthen channel programs and accelerate growth through strategic alliances. The company serves nearly 75,000 customers including Bridgestone, New Balance, S&P Global, and Sony Music.
