Cartier Resources Inc. (TSXV: ECR; FSE: 6CA) announced the appointment of Glenn Mullan to its board of directors, according to a company statement.
Mullan brings over four decades of experience in mineral exploration, project advancement, corporate development and public company leadership to the Quebec-based gold exploration company. He previously founded and led Golden Valley Mines Ltd. from 2000-2021 and Abitibi Royalties Inc. from 2010-2021 until both companies were acquired.
The geologist and prospector served as President of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada from 2016 to 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Concordia University and earned the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors in Montreal in 2007.
"Glenn brings a highly complementary combination of geological, corporate and capital markets expertise, together with a strong track record of value creation in the mining sector," said Daniel Massé, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Cartier granted Mullan 300,000 stock options on April 8, 2026, exercisable at $0.23 per share and expiring April 7, 2031. Each option entitles the holder to acquire one common share of the company.
The company's flagship Cadillac Project covers 14,000 hectares along a 15-kilometre segment of the Cadillac Fault in the Val-d'Or mining camp. The project hosts total gold resources of 767,800 ounces in the measured and indicated categories and 2,416,900 ounces in the inferred category, according to a January 27, 2026 technical report.
