Sling TV launches new streaming package for $19.99 monthly
Sling TV announced the launch of Sling Essentials, a new streaming television package priced at $19.99 per month. The service includes ESPN, ESPN2, Disney Channel, and several other channels targeting sports fans and families.
The channel lineup features sports networks ESPN and ESPN2, family programming including Disney Channel, Freeform, and Game Show Network, along with movie channels such as Lifetime Movies and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Classic television networks MeTV, startTV, GRIT, and Heroes & Icons are also included.
Customers can combine Sling Essentials with Sling Select for $34.99 monthly, which adds channels including FOX News, FS1, NFL Network, and National Geographic. The service includes 50 hours of cloud DVR storage, with an option to upgrade to unlimited DVR for an additional $5 monthly.

Additional content packages are available, including Sports Extra, News Extra, Kids Extra, Entertainment Extra, and Latino Extra. Subscribers can also access direct-to-customer apps and pay-per-view content at standard rates.
Sling TV is a subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) and offers more than 700 channels across its various services. The streaming platform is available on major streaming devices, smart televisions, tablets, game consoles, computers and smartphones.
