KORE partners with Kigen to launch SGP.32 IoT connectivity solutions
KORE Group Holdings Inc. (NYSE: KORE) announced a partnership with Kigen to develop SGP.32-compliant connectivity solutions for Internet of Things deployments, with commercial availability planned for later in 2026.
The solutions are built on the GSMA's next-generation eSIM standard and designed to support devices ranging from high-power gateways to battery-powered sensors. The connectivity profiles include streamlined roaming, multi-network approaches and local connectivity with failover capabilities.
The SGP.32 solutions allow customers to remotely provision, switch and optimize connectivity without physical device visits. KORE stated the approach supports interoperability and carrier-grade integrations for managing device fleets.
"Enterprise customers don't just need standards - they need a proven way to operationalize them at scale," said Ron Totton, President and CEO of KORE. "With SGP.32, success depends on deep carrier relationships, global infrastructure and the ability to manage complexity across the full device lifecycle."
Kigen contributes GSMA-certified SGP.32 eSIM and eIM technology to the solution. Vincent Korstanje, CEO at Kigen, said SGP.32 removes complexity that has limited enterprise IoT scale by making connectivity flexible, resilient and secure.
The partnership aims to provide enterprises with adaptive global IoT connectivity that can respond to regulatory requirements, network conditions and deployment changes. The solutions support remote management across extended device lifecycles.
KORE describes itself as a global IoT connectivity, solutions and analytics provider. Kigen specializes in eSIM and remote SIM provisioning technology and is backed by Arm, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and SBI Group.
