Expensify Inc. (NASDAQ: EXFY) announced an integration with American Airlines AAdvantage Business that automatically syncs flight receipts into its expense management platform.

The integration eliminates manual receipt uploads for companies booking business travel through AAdvantage Business. After a one-time setup, eligible flight receipts flow directly into Expensify accounts without requiring email forwarding or manual uploads.

"Business travel should be seamless from booking to reconciliation," said Nick Tooker, Global Head of Partnerships at Expensify. "By connecting Expensify with American Airlines AAdvantage Business, we're removing one more manual step from the expense process so our shared customers can focus on work, not paperwork."

Users can enable the integration by logging into the AAdvantage Business travel management portal, navigating to Settings and Integrations, and toggling on the Expensify connection. Once activated, flight receipts automatically appear in connected Expensify accounts with vendor information and amounts populated.

The integration targets companies using Expensify to manage business expenses, providing finance teams visibility into travel spending while maintaining employee access to AAdvantage miles on eligible bookings.
