Comstock signs lease with Taste Buds Kitchen at Loudoun Station
Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHCI) announced a lease agreement with Taste Buds Kitchen for 2,600 square feet of retail space at 22114 Gramercy Park Drive in Loudoun Station.
Taste Buds Kitchen operates as a franchise-based culinary entertainment company that offers interactive cooking classes and culinary parties for children, families, and adults. The company provides themed classes and events led by instructors.
The franchise was founded by Jessi Walter Brelsford in 2007 in New York City and began franchising in 2013. The company currently operates 18 locations nationwide with additional locations in development. The Loudoun Station location will mark the franchise's first presence in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. region.
"Loudoun County has been my home for over 20 years, and opening Taste Buds Kitchen here feels like a natural next chapter," said Teddra Burgess, Kitchen Owner, Taste Buds Kitchen Loudoun Station.
Tim Steffan, Chief Operating Officer of Comstock, stated the company is "excited to welcome Taste Buds Kitchen to the Loudoun Station community."
Loudoun Station is located adjacent to Ashburn Station on Metro's Silver Line, which connects to Dulles International Airport and downtown Washington, D.C. The development includes over 1 million square feet of residential, office, retail, and entertainment space, with an additional 1.5 million square feet of mixed-use development planned.
Comstock, founded in 1985, operates as an asset manager, developer, and operator of mixed-use and transit-oriented properties in the Washington, D.C. region. The company manages a portfolio of approximately 10 million square feet at full build-out.
