April 8, 2026 9:26 AM

AMTD IDEA Group (NYSE: AMTD) announced it plans to consider distributing stock dividends through shares of its listed subsidiaries to shareholders, according to a company statement.

The company said the proposed distribution would go to shareholders and holders of American depositary shares. The plan remains in an exploratory stage and is subject to board approval, with no assurance that any distribution will occur.

AMTD IDEA Group has expanded since its 2019 NYSE initial public offering to become parent company of several listed entities. Key subsidiary AMTD Digital Inc. (NYSE: HKD) completed its NYSE IPO in 2022. The Generation Essentials Group (NYSE: TGE) completed a business combination with Black Spade Acquisition II Co in June 2025 and currently lists shares on NYSE.

The Generation Essentials Group sponsored TGE Value Creative Solutions Corp, which completed an IPO of 15 million units at $10.00 per unit on December 23, 2025, raising $150 million in gross proceeds.

The company stated that factors for consideration include performance of AMTD IDEA Group and relevant subsidiaries, plus overall market conditions. The record date, timing, form and amount of any distribution remain subject to board determination.

AMTD IDEA Group trades on NYSE and Singapore Exchange and operates as a digital solutions platform connecting companies and investors with global markets.
