Getty Images (NYSE: GETY) announced the launch of Picture This Nation, a curated storytelling resource designed to help organizations commemorate the United States' 250th anniversary. The initiative provides access to historical and contemporary visuals along with guidance for creating narratives about American culture.

The resource draws from Getty Images' visual archives and editorial coverage, offering brands, filmmakers, agencies, publishers, and cultural institutions tools to craft visual narratives about America's past, present, and future. Customers can access curated visuals, data-backed playbooks, and custom production capabilities.

"America's 250th anniversary invites every storyteller to reflect on both the history we share and the future we're shaping," said Gene Foca, Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer at Getty Images. "With Picture This Nation, we're providing trusted, rights-cleared visuals and expert guidance that help brands and institutions meet this milestone with accuracy, authenticity, and respect."

Picture This Nation includes content from the Bettmann Archive and partnerships with Condé Nast, NBC News Archives, Sports Illustrated, New York Daily News, the HBCU Collection, and The Chronicle Collection. The platform also features collections representing various identity perspectives, including Repicturing Rural, #ShowUs, Disrupt Aging, and The Disability Collection.

The initiative includes data-backed visual playbooks offering guidance on representation and cultural nuance, insights into American visual sentiment based on Getty Images' consumer research, custom creative production capabilities, and rights-clearance expertise for historical accuracy.

Picture This Nation targets museums curating anniversary exhibitions, brands planning campaigns, nonprofits organizing civic participation, and media organizations covering America's narrative. The resource emphasizes verified, rights-cleared, historically accurate imagery amid concerns about synthetic media and misinformation.
