Spectral AI appoints David McGuire as chief financial officer
Spectral AI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDAI) announced the appointment of David McGuire as chief financial officer, effective May 4, 2026. The Dallas-based artificial intelligence company develops medical diagnostics for wound care treatment decisions.
McGuire brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience to the role. He previously served as chief accounting officer at Solo Brands, Inc., where he oversaw accounting, financial reporting, internal controls and tax functions. He also held the position of deputy chief financial officer and chief accounting officer at EZCORP, Inc., a publicly-traded provider of consumer retail transactions and financial services.
Prior to these roles, McGuire worked as managing director at a professional services company, where he established the firm's Texas practice and advised companies on finance and accounting transformation. He began his career at Ernst & Young LLP, working there for 14 years in positions of increasing responsibility.
McGuire holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and is a certified public accountant.

Spectral AI develops the DeepView System, a predictive diagnostic device designed to assess burn wound healing potential. The company focuses on medical diagnostics using artificial intelligence for wound care applications, particularly for patients with burns.
