FactSet names Joshua Warren as chief financial officer
FactSet Research Systems Inc. (NYSE: FDS) announced that Joshua B. Warren will become chief financial officer effective April 13, 2026, succeeding Helen Shan who is transitioning from the position.
Warren previously served as chief financial officer at Envestnet, where he led finance and operating functions transformation. Before that, he held positions at BlackRock as Global Head of Business Strategy for iShares and Index Investments, and as Managing Director in Corporate Strategy and Development. He also worked at Barclays Capital, Foros Group, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Warren holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
"Josh brings a rare combination of strategic perspective, financial discipline, and operational execution," said Sanoke Viswanathan, FactSet's chief executive officer, in the company's announcement.
Warren stated: "The company has spent years building trusted data and relationships, and I am excited to work with the team to build on that foundation to accelerate growth and drive results for all our stakeholders."
Shan previously served as both chief financial officer and chief revenue officer at FactSet. The company noted that her departure is not due to any disagreement regarding accounting practices, financial statements, financial condition, or related disclosures.
FactSet provides financial data and enterprise solutions to clients across asset management, wealth management, private equity, and corporate sectors. The company serves more than 9,000 global clients and over 240,000 individual users.
