Endeavour Silver reports Q1 2026 production of 1.9 million silver ounces
Endeavour Silver Corp. (NYSE: EXK) produced 1,875,375 ounces of silver and 11,740 ounces of gold in the first quarter of 2026, according to a company statement released April 8.
The Vancouver-based mining company reported total silver equivalent production of 3.3 million ounces for the quarter, combining precious metals with base metals output. Silver production increased 56% compared to 1,205,793 ounces in the first quarter of 2025, while gold production rose 41% from 8,338 ounces in the same period last year.
The production increases stemmed from contributions of 530,118 silver ounces from the Kolpa mine in Peru and 533,301 silver ounces from the Terronera mine in Mexico. These additions were partially offset by the January 15, 2026 sale of the BolaƱitos mine, which contributed 18,396 silver ounces during its first 15 days of operation in 2026.
Endeavour processed 456,657 tonnes of material during the quarter, representing a 118% increase from 209,507 tonnes in the first quarter of 2025. The company sold 1,642,220 silver ounces and 10,942 gold ounces during the period.
At the Kolpa mine, new crushers and a 14-foot by 24-foot ball mill were commissioned in March to enable throughput of 2,500 tonnes per day in upcoming quarters. Heavy rainfall in Peru's Huancavelica region affected operations and delayed the plant expansion ramp-up.
The Terronera mine achieved silver recoveries of 84.0% and gold recoveries of 72.7% during the quarter. Operations were briefly paused for three days in February due to security events in Jalisco, Mexico.
Endeavour will release first quarter 2026 financial results after market close on May 6, 2026, followed by a conference call on May 7.
