RPM International promotes Harmeyer and Schweiger in Consumer Group
RPM International Inc. (NYSE: RPM) announced the promotion of Don Harmeyer to group president and Tom Schweiger to chief financial officer of the company's Consumer Group.
Harmeyer brings 26 years of executive management experience within RPM's Consumer Group. He previously served as chief financial officer of the Consumer Group since September 2021, managing global finance and information technology activities for brands including Rust-Oleum, DAP, Gator and The Pink Stuff. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin.
Schweiger succeeds Harmeyer as group CFO, bringing 18 years of experience at Rust-Oleum and 11 prior years with Kraft. He most recently served as senior vice president of finance for Rust-Oleum Corporation. His experience includes leading financial integration of international acquisitions and modernizing the global finance function. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in accounting from the University of Iowa and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
