Parsons unifies aviation units under single organization
Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) announced the consolidation of its aviation capabilities into a single North American Aviation organization. The Chantilly, Virginia-based company said the restructuring aligns with its integrated approach to delivering aviation solutions.
The company operates across more than 450 airports worldwide and provides services to over 600 Federal Aviation Administration facilities. Parsons has delivered aviation infrastructure projects in all 50 U.S. states and across six continents, with program and construction management services on capital programs valued in the tens of billions of dollars.
"Unifying our aviation capabilities strengthens our ability to deliver best in-class solutions for our global customers while driving growth and collaboration across Parsons," said Martin Boson, president of Engineered Systems for Parsons.
The unified structure combines federal aviation modernization work with commercial airport planning, design, and program management services. Current projects include owner's representative services for Los Angeles International Airport's Landside Access Modernization Project and construction management for infrastructure upgrades at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The company also serves as lead designer for Newark Liberty International Airport's AirTrain Replacement Program and provides design services for John F. Kennedy International Airport's Central Terminal Area Roadways project. At Baltimore/Washington International Airport, Parsons has provided continuous support for 50 years through planning, design, and construction management services.
The company's federal aviation portfolio includes the FAA's Technical Support Services Contract, which provides engineering and technical services across hundreds of FAA facilities. Services include air traffic control facility upgrades, runway safety enhancements, and digital engineering initiatives.
