NANO Nuclear submits proposal to develop uranium facility in Argentina
NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: NNE) submitted a private proposal to Argentina's state-owned Dioxitek S.A. for the potential joint development of a natural uranium hexafluoride production facility, the company announced.
The proposal involves building the facility on Dioxitek's existing infrastructure in Argentina. Dioxitek operates as the country's sole feedstock manufacturer for nuclear fuel fabrication and handles nuclear fuel cycle operations.
The submission follows a memorandum of understanding between the two companies executed in August 2025, which established a framework to assess Argentina's natural uranium conversion capacities and supporting infrastructure.
Under Argentinian law, Dioxitek will review the proposal. The companies expect to conduct additional work with relevant stakeholders in Argentina to evaluate technical, financial, and implementation aspects of the potential facility development.
The assessment process aims toward potential negotiation and execution of definitive agreements between NANO Nuclear and Dioxitek for the project, according to the company's statement.
