PAR Technology launches AI platform for multi-unit operators

PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PAR) announced the launch of PAR Intelligence, an artificial intelligence platform designed for multi-unit operators in restaurant, retail, and commerce sectors.

The platform integrates AI capabilities across PAR's existing product ecosystem rather than functioning as a standalone tool. PAR Intelligence operates through automated agents that analyze data and execute actions without manual intervention.

The system draws from data accumulated over two decades, including 12 billion annual transactions, 640 million customer profiles, 400 million loyalty members, and operations across 150,000 locations spanning 200 enterprise brands.

"The average profitability gap between a multi-unit operator's best and worst stores is 3.6x," said Savneet Singh, CEO of PAR Technology. "Most AI in our industry stops at insights or recommendations. PAR Intelligence goes further — it executes."

The platform currently includes three AI agents: an Insights Agent that identifies performance gaps, an Offers Agent that creates and deploys marketing campaigns, and a Developer Assist Agent that supports integration workflows for technical teams.

PAR plans to expand the platform with additional agents and broader operational capabilities. The company stated the system aims to help operators scale successful practices from high-performing locations across their entire operation.

The announcement represents PAR's integration of AI technology into its existing software platform, which includes point-of-sale systems, digital ordering, loyalty programs, and back-office operations for multi-unit businesses.
