Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW) has opened an office in the United Kingdom to support current and future programs under the UK Ministry of Defence, the company announced.

The new UK presence will include staff across engineering, program management, logistics, and sustainment functions. The office will provide support for the MOD's Tiquila program and operational support for Redwire's Stalker (Eagle) uncrewed aerial vehicle platforms, according to the company.

"Our broadened footprint in the United Kingdom underscores our commitment to supporting the MOD with the world's most advanced uncrewed aircraft systems and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance technologies," said Steve Adlich, President of Redwire Defense Tech.

Redwire stated its uncrewed aerial solutions have been used in UK MOD missions for the past decade. The UK expansion is part of the company's global defense technology growth strategy, which includes expanded operations across Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region.

The company specializes in uncrewed aircraft, advanced optics, and energy solutions for government and civilian operations. Redwire employs approximately 1,400 people located throughout Europe and North America.

The information is based on a company press release.
