Quanex appoints Chad Collins as president of hardware solutions

Quanex Building Products Corporation (NYSE: NX) appointed Chad Collins as President, Hardware Solutions, effective April 6, 2026. Collins will succeed Bob Daniels, who plans to retire at the end of 2026 after more than 35 years with the company.



Collins brings more than 20 years of global leadership experience across manufacturing, industrial technology and distribution sectors. He has held senior roles at OTC Industrial Technologies, Haydon Corporation, Myers Industries, Parker Hannifin and Philips Healthcare.



"Chad is a leader who knows how to move a business forward and bring people with him," said George Wilson, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Quanex. "He's built strong teams, led through complex change and stayed focused on what matters most to customers."



In his new role, Collins will lead the strategic and operational direction of Quanex Hardware Solutions with a focus on growth, innovation and delivering value for customers and shareholders. The division manufactures window and door hardware, screens and security solutions for the fenestration industry.



Daniels will support Collins's transition through the end of May 2026 and remain engaged with the business throughout the year. Wilson noted Daniels's contributions over three decades across the company's businesses and brands.
