ParaZero receives follow-on order for DefendAir counter-drone systems
ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: PRZO) announced it received an additional purchase order from an Israeli defense entity for its DefendAir Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems.
The order represents a follow-on purchase as part of ParaZero's direct contract with the Israeli defense entity. The systems are intended to support procurement initiatives addressing drone threats identified in recent conflicts, according to the company's statement.
DefendAir is a multi-layered counter-drone solution that uses net-launching technology for non-kinetic interception of hostile drones. The company states the system demonstrated 100% interception success in multiple field trials and is designed to protect troops, infrastructure, and urban environments.
"We are honored to receive this order from this defense entity, a testament to the reliability and effectiveness of our DefendAir systems in real-world defense scenarios," said Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero. "Following the lessons of recent conflicts, where drones have emerged as a significant battlefield challenge, this procurement underscores the urgent need for advanced, scalable counter-drone capabilities."
The order includes delivery of additional DefendAir units for operational readiness against hostile drones. ParaZero did not disclose the financial terms or specific quantities involved in the purchase order.
ParaZero Technologies, founded in 2014, develops autonomous solutions for manned and unmanned aerial systems. The company's product portfolio includes SafeAir parachute recovery systems, DefendAir counter-drone platforms, and DropAir precision delivery systems.
