Oncotelic partners with TechForce to commercialize AI robotics platform
Oncotelic Therapeutics Inc. announced a strategic partnership with TechForce Robotics Inc. to commercialize its PDAOAI-enhanced, GMP-compliant robotics platform for pharmaceutical manufacturing applications.
The integrated system combines Oncotelic's proprietary PDAOAI artificial intelligence capabilities with TechForce's robotics hardware and manufacturing expertise. The platform is designed to operate within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environments and enable automated material handling, real-time monitoring, and compliance workflows.
The system includes automated material handling capabilities, integrated vision and monitoring systems, AI-enhanced deviation detection, and generation of time-stamped documentation aligned with GMP requirements. The platform is intended to reduce human intervention, minimize contamination risk, and enhance process consistency through automated monitoring.
"This commercialization represents a significant step forward in bridging PDAOAI and automation within regulated pharmaceutical environments," said Dr. Vuong Trieu, chairman and chief executive officer of Oncotelic. "After years of development, we are now positioned to advance our transformative solution toward commercialization that can enhance compliance, reduce operational risk, and improve efficiency across the industry."
Ried Floco, president of TechForce Robotics, said the collaboration demonstrates the combination of advanced AI with purpose-built robotics systems. The companies executed a joint development, manufacturing, and licensing agreement establishing a framework for ongoing collaboration and production scaling.
Oncotelic is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on oncology and AI-driven solutions. The company owns 45% of GMP Bio, a joint venture advancing drug candidates in oncology and rare disease therapeutics.
