CGI signs strategic collaboration agreement with AWS for U.S. public sector

CGI Inc. (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) announced a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services to deliver artificial intelligence and digital transformation solutions to U.S. public sector organizations.



The agreement focuses on cybersecurity, fraud prevention and citizen services through joint go-to-market strategies. CGI will deliver solutions addressing analytics, fraud prevention, operational decision support, Zero Trust cybersecurity architectures, and legacy system modernization.



"This agreement enhances our proven ability to better serve government, education, nonprofit and healthcare organizations in the U.S.," said Tim Hurlebaus, President and Chief Operating Officer at CGI. The collaboration includes investments in cloud and AI training and certification programs for CGI professionals.



David Levy, Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector at AWS, stated, "Government agencies need AI that works at mission speed. This collaboration puts advanced cloud and AI capabilities directly into the hands of agencies tackling their toughest challenges."
