Roku, Hisense face U.S. patent violation probe over display devices
Investing.com -- The U.S. International Trade Commission opened a Section 337 patent violation investigation on Wednesday into certain Roku and Hisense brand display devices, streaming players and components.
Las Vegas-based InnoTV Labs LLC filed the petition alleging that its patents were violated by devices and components imported by San Jose, California-based Roku Inc, Purple Tag Media Technology Shanghai Ltd and Qingdao, China-based Hisense Visual Technology Co and related companies.
InnoTV Labs requested that the USITC issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders against the imports, according to the commission's statement.
