BJ's Wholesale Club names Stephanie Reibling as merchandising chief
BJ's Wholesale Club (NYSE: BJ) announced Stephanie Reibling has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer, effective immediately.
Reibling will oversee the company's merchandising organization and report to Paul Cichocki, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, according to the company's statement.
The new executive brings nearly 25 years of experience in merchandising, product development and sourcing. She most recently served as senior vice president and general merchandise manager at Sam's Club, where she managed apparel, home, hardlines, toys and seasonal categories for both physical stores and e-commerce operations.
Earlier in her career, Reibling held merchandising positions at Walmart, leading categories including DIY, sports and outdoors, kids apparel and home goods. She also worked in leadership roles at Gap Inc.
"Her experience in retail and merchandising will be invaluable as we evolve our assortment, build BJ's own brands and advance our omnichannel capabilities," Cichocki said in the statement.
Chairman and CEO Bob Eddy noted that Reibling "brings a deep knowledge of the space and a track record of driving growth."
Reibling holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan.
BJ's Wholesale Club operates 263 clubs and 201 gas locations across 21 states. The company is headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
