Teledyne integrates space businesses under new division
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY) announced the integration of its space-focused technologies and businesses into a new division called Teledyne Space, according to a company statement.
The Thousand Oaks, California-based company said the integration brings together expertise from multiple Teledyne businesses in sensing, electronics, components and mission-critical operations. Megan Tremer, President of Teledyne Space Imaging and MEMS, will lead the new division.
"By bringing together expertise across multiple Teledyne businesses, this new collective aligns our capabilities in sensing, electronics, components and mission-critical operations to support the growing demand for advanced space technologies," Tremer stated.
Teledyne Space will exhibit at the 2026 Space Symposium scheduled for April 13-16, 2026, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. The company plans to showcase space-based imaging detectors, microwave devices, optoelectronic and photonic technologies, radiation-tolerant semiconductors and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
The company stated it has supported space missions for over 50 years, working with space agencies including NASA, ESA, JAXA, and KASA on applications ranging from Earth observation to planetary exploration and communications satellites.
Teledyne Technologies provides digital imaging products, instrumentation, aerospace and defense electronics, and engineered systems. The company operates primarily in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Western and Northern Europe.
