Canada Carbon names Gordon Zind as CFO, extends Irondequoit deal
Canada Carbon Inc. (TSX-V: CCB) announced the appointment of Gordon Zind as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 31, 2026, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. Arran Thorpe resigned from his position as Interim Chief Financial Officer in connection with the appointment.
The company also extended its memorandum of understanding with Irondequoit Carbon Co., LLC through April 6, 2027. The original agreement was dated October 5, 2022, and previously amended on October 10, 2025.
Under the MOU, Irondequoit maintains exclusive rights to pursue binding offtake agreements for a minimum of 25% of graphite production from Canada Carbon's Miller project. The graphite is targeted for aerospace, defense and high-performance lithium battery energy storage applications.
Canada Carbon focuses on high-purity graphite deposits through its Miller and Asbury projects in Quebec. The company develops graphite materials for industrial applications.
