SES AI expects first quarter revenue of $6.3 million to $6.5 million
SES AI Corporation (NYSE: SES) expects first quarter 2026 revenue between $6.3 million and $6.5 million, above consensus estimates, according to preliminary results released by the company.
The battery developer said first quarter revenue stems primarily from energy storage system products sold to UZ Energy, with additional contributions from drone and subscription revenue. The quarter includes approximately $1.5 million from orders delayed from fourth quarter 2025 due to logistics constraints.
SES AI reaffirmed its full year 2026 revenue guidance of $30 million to $35 million, with expected contributions from three business units: energy storage systems, drones, and advanced materials.
"We are pleased to start 2026 with strong momentum in our ESS business," said Qichao Hu, founder and CEO. "Our first quarter results are expected to come in above expectations, driven by the continued execution of UZ Energy and growing demand for our commercial and industrial energy storage solutions."
The Woburn, Massachusetts-based company plans to report complete first quarter 2026 financial results after market close on April 23, 2026, followed by a conference call at 5:00 p.m. ET.
SES AI develops and manufactures lithium-metal and lithium-ion batteries with operations in Boston, Singapore, Shanghai, and Seoul. The company's preliminary financial results are unaudited and subject to completion of accounting procedures.
