Bruker adds QIAGEN CEO Thierry Bernard to board of directors
Bruker Corporation (NASDAQ: BRKR) appointed Thierry Bernard to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a company statement.
Bernard currently serves as chief executive officer of QIAGEN N.V., a position he has held since 2019. He joined QIAGEN in 2015 to lead the company's molecular diagnostics business before his promotion to CEO. Bernard has announced his intention to step down as QIAGEN's CEO upon the appointment of a successor.
Prior to QIAGEN, Bernard spent 15 years with bioMérieux SA in roles of increasing responsibility, including corporate vice president for global commercial operations, investor relations and the Greater China region. He also held senior management positions at other international companies.
In 2023, Bernard was named chair of the board of directors of AdvaMedDx, a U.S. trade industry association. He joined the board of directors of Neogen Corporation in 2024. Bernard holds degrees and certifications from Sciences Po Paris, the London School of Economics, the College of Europe, Harvard Business School and Centro de Comercio Exterior de Barcelona.

Bruker develops scientific instruments and analytical solutions for life science research, biopharma applications, and industrial research.
