Zymeworks Inc. (NASDAQ: ZYME) announced the appointment of Kristin Stafford as Chief Financial Officer, effective April 1, 2026. The biotechnology company manages a portfolio of licensed healthcare assets while developing biotherapeutics.

Stafford previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Royalty Pharma plc since December 2018. Before that role, she was Vice President of Finance at Royalty Pharma and Chief Financial Officer of BioPharma Credit plc from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in her career, she worked as a director at Ernst & Young LLP Capital Markets in London, focusing on U.S. transactions involving European life sciences companies.

Her experience includes managing external SEC reporting for iHeartMedia and working as an auditor at Deloitte. Stafford currently serves as a board member at Novocure and holds a CPA certification along with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Sonoma State University.

The company has partnerships with BeOne Medicines Ltd. and Jazz Pharmaceuticals Ireland Limited for development and commercialization rights in different territories.
