DocuSign integrates contract management into Slack platform
DocuSign (NASDAQ: DOCU) announced an integration with Slack that brings its Intelligent Agreement Management platform directly into Slackbot. The integration allows teams to create, manage and complete contracts within Slack conversations.
The integration enables sales teams to generate contracts using real-time Salesforce CRM data, automate contract renewals, and collaborate on agreement reviews across departments. Teams can also search for existing contracts and maintain synchronized agreement data with business systems like Salesforce.
"By bringing DocuSign into Slack, we'll meet teams where they work and enable agentic workflows that can take action on their behalf," said Allan Thygesen, CEO of DocuSign.
The system allows sales representatives to request contract generation through Slackbot, which pulls customer and pricing data from Salesforce and applies approved terms to produce agreements. Legal teams can provide feedback within the same Slack conversation, and agreement status updates automatically sync across connected systems.
Rob Seaman, EVP and GM of Slack, said the integration provides customers "rapid access to agentic contract workflows directly in Slack."
The integration will be available in the coming months, according to the company's announcement made on March 31. DocuSign reports serving over 1.8 million customers and more than one billion users across 180 countries.
The announcement represents part of what DocuSign describes as a shift toward agent-assisted workflow systems where people and automated agents collaborate within single interfaces rather than across multiple disconnected systems.
