March 31, 2026 9:00 AM

Recursion (NASDAQ: RXRX) announced an expanded strategic partnership with Citeline to integrate real-world data capabilities into its AI-enabled drug discovery platform. The collaboration aims to improve clinical trial design and development decisions through enhanced data integration.

The partnership incorporates Citeline's SmartSolutions into Recursion's platform, which combines multimodal datasets, AI models, and experimental biology for drug development. Recursion reported that its ClinTech platform has achieved 30-60% improvements in clinical trial enrollment.

"The addition of Citeline's data and evidence capabilities to Recursion's robust platform has meaningfully supported our pipeline, including contextualization of single-arm data from our REC-4881 Phase I/II study," said Najat Khan, CEO and President of Recursion.

Citeline, owned by Norstella, provides clinical solutions and real-world data services to life sciences companies. The expanded partnership builds on existing collaboration between the companies to support drug development from discovery through clinical trials.

Fred Hassan, Norstella Executive Chair, stated that integrating Citeline SmartSolutions into Recursion's platform will provide teams with data insights from early development stages.

Recursion operates as a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on using AI and automation for drug discovery across oncology, rare disease, neuroscience, and immunology. The company's Recursion OS platform integrates biology, chemistry, and clinical development processes.

The information is based on a press release statement from the companies.
