Nuwellis pediatric segment reaches 50% of total US revenue in 2025
Nuwellis Inc (NASDAQ: NUWE) reported that its pediatric category represented approximately 50% of total U.S. revenue in 2025, according to a company statement. The medical technology company develops solutions for patients with cardiorenal conditions.
The pediatric segment has become the company's largest and fastest-growing category. Nuwellis CEO John Erb stated that the pediatric category "has become a meaningful and durable driver of growth, now accounting for approximately half of total revenue in 2025."
The company's pediatric footprint expanded to 47 centers nationwide. This includes six of the top 10 children's hospitals as ranked by U.S. News & World Report.
Nuwellis markets the Aquadex therapy platform, which received Food and Drug Administration clearance for use in pediatric and adult patients weighing 20kg and above. The system provides ultrafiltration for managing fluid overload in patients.
The Aquadex SmartFlow system is indicated for temporary or extended use in patients whose fluid overload does not respond to medical management, including diuretics. All treatments must be administered by trained healthcare providers in clinical settings under physician prescription.
Senior Director of Medical Affairs Kelsey Newell noted that adoption within pediatric centers reflects recognition of the need for precision fluid management in pediatric populations. The company plans to continue supporting clinical evidence development and expanding market access.
The information comes from a company press release statement issued by Nuwellis.
