BTQ Technologies hires cryptography expert Dr. Ro Cammarota

BTQ Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: BTQ) announced the appointment of Dr. Ro Cammarota to its U.S. team to support development and commercialization of QCIM, the company's post-quantum semiconductor platform.

Dr. Cammarota brings over 20 years of experience in cryptography, privacy, and semiconductor design. He previously served as Senior Principal Engineer at Intel Labs, where he was Principal Investigator for the DARPA DPRIVE program focused on acceleration architectures for fully homomorphic encryption. He also held roles as Co-Principal Investigator for Intel's Private AI Collaborative Research Institute and Crypto Frontiers Research Institute.

Before Intel, Dr. Cammarota worked as Senior Staff R&D Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm, leading development of hardware acceleration architectures for AI processing and security applications. He has collaborated with organizations including the RISC-V Security Standing Committee, Wi-Fi Alliance, and Semiconductor Research Corporation. Dr. Cammarota also served on the steering committee for the U.S. Department of Defense's Trusted and Assured Microelectronics program.

Dr. Cammarota holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from UC Irvine and an M.S. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II. He currently serves as Associate Researcher at the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at UC Irvine.
