Novo Nordisk (NYSE: NVO) reduced prices of its diabetes and weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy by up to 36% and 48% respectively in India, the company said Tuesday.

The Danish pharmaceutical company implemented the price cuts to compete with local drugmakers offering generic versions of the medications in the Indian market.
