Happy Belly Food Group Inc. (CSE: HBFG) (OTCQB: HBFG) announced that its Yolks Breakfast brand has signed a franchise agreement and secured real estate for a location in Port Moody, British Columbia. The restaurant is scheduled to open in summer 2026.

The Toronto-based company operates multiple food brands across Canada through its acquisition and scaling model. Yolks Breakfast serves breakfast, brunch and lunch items at locations across British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.

"British Columbia is a core market for Yolks, and Port Moody represents an ideal community for our chef-driven breakfast, brunch and lunch offering," said Sean Black, Chief Executive Officer of Happy Belly Food Group.

According to the company's statement, Yolks currently has 61 units under area development across Canadian provinces. Happy Belly Food Group reports a total of 666 contractually committed retail franchise locations across its portfolio of brands in various stages of development, construction, and operation.

The Port Moody location represents continued expansion for the Yolks brand in Western Canada, following recent development activity in Ontario and Quebec. Happy Belly's portfolio includes Heal Wellness, Rosie's Burgers, Yolks Breakfast, and Via Cibo Italian Street Food.
