Oracle NetSuite adds AI connector features for business integration

March 31, 2026 5:53 AM

Oracle NetSuite announced three new additions to its NetSuite AI Connector Service that enable businesses to connect artificial intelligence models to NetSuite data and workflows. The additions include NetSuite AI Connector Service Companion, support for NetSuite Model Context Protocol (MCP) Apps extension, and expanded support for NetSuite Analytics Warehouse.

The NetSuite AI Connector Service Companion provides AI assistants with understanding of NetSuite's data structures, permissions, and workflows. The service includes a prompt library of more than 100 finance-specific templates and skills that transform general AI agents into NetSuite specialists. The companion also offers role-based access controls for positions such as CFO, Controller, and Treasury Analyst.

NetSuite MCP Apps bring NetSuite user interfaces directly into AI assistants, allowing users to interact with data through structured interfaces rather than text prompts. The apps include features like Report Picker and Record Picker that provide menu-based navigation within AI platforms.

The expanded NetSuite Analytics Warehouse support extends AI access beyond transactional ERP data to include historical, analytical, and third-party data for broader business analysis and forecasting capabilities.

"We are committed to providing the most intelligent, extensible, and AI-ready system," said Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice president at Oracle NetSuite. "A strong data foundation is critical, but we also have to meet our customers where they are."

The NetSuite AI Connector Service Companion and Analytics Warehouse support are available in English worldwide, with plans for additional language expansion. NetSuite MCP Apps will be released through the SuiteApp Marketplace as part of the MCP Standard Tools SuiteApp.

NetSuite serves more than 43,000 customers across 220 countries and territories, according to the company's press release.
