March 30, 2026 4:13 PM

Vertiv Holdings Co. (NYSE: VRT) announced plans to invest approximately $50 million to expand facilities in Westerville and Ironton, Ohio, creating up to 730 jobs through 2029.

The digital infrastructure company will expand its Westerville headquarters campus and manufacturing facility in Ironton. The Westerville expansion is expected to create approximately 210 new jobs in engineering, sales, services, and project management functions. The Ironton facility expansion will add about 520 positions, including mechanical, electrical, assembly, quality, production maintenance, and supervisory roles.

The investment will expand Vertiv's engineering, services, sales, and project execution functions at its headquarters while increasing manufacturing capacity and upgrading facilities and machinery in Ironton. The Ironton facility focuses on producing thermal management systems for AI and traditional compute workloads.

Ohio is supporting the expansion through a $1 million JobsOhio grant in Delaware County, a $3 million JobsOhio grant in Lawrence County, and job creation tax credits from the Ohio Department of Development.

"Ohio has been central to Vertiv's story for more than six decades, and this investment reflects our confidence in the state, our communities, and the people who make growth possible," said Anand Sanghi, president of Vertiv Americas.

Vertiv has operated in Ohio for more than 60 years and has expanded its Ironton manufacturing operations over the past 25 years. The company recently became a Fortune 500 global headquarters in Columbus.

The announcement was made by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine along with representatives from Vertiv, the Ohio Department of Development, JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development, and the Columbus Partnership.
