Genasys appoints Larry Hagenbuch to board, audit committee chair
Genasys Inc. (NASDAQ: GNSS) appointed Larry Hagenbuch to its board of directors, where he will serve as chair of the audit committee, according to a company statement.
Hagenbuch is an operating partner at Crossplane Capital, a Dallas-based private equity firm. He previously served as audit committee chair for public companies including HireQuest (NASDAQ: HQI) and Optex Systems, and held audit committee positions at Remy International.
Before joining Crossplane Capital, Hagenbuch led Huron Consulting's Interim Management Practice and served in interim C-level positions. His career includes operational roles at GE, GE Capital, and J. Hilburn, as well as consulting positions at Alix Partners and Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

"His background as a former COO and CFO, combined with decades of operational, restructuring, and governance leadership across public and private enterprises, positions him to provide strong, independent financial stewardship as Audit Chair."
Hagenbuch began his career as a weapons officer in the United States Navy aboard the USS Reuben James. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Genasys develops protective communications technology including long-range acoustic devices and emergency notification systems. The company serves customers across all 50 states and more than 100 countries.
