Kyndryl (NYSE: KD) announced it received a contract from the Texas Department of Information Resources to provide deliverables-based IT services to state and local government agencies and other eligible public sector organizations.

The contract, designated DIR-CPO-6161, allows Texas public sector organizations to access Kyndryl's technology services through the Texas DIR Cooperative Contracts Program. The services include security and resiliency, cloud, applications, data and artificial intelligence capabilities.

Kyndryl's government work is led by its Kyndryl Consult advisory teams, which assess current environments, identify modernization priorities and manage multi-phase transformation efforts. The company supports agencies in strengthening cybersecurity, modernizing legacy platforms and enhancing digital service delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Kyndryl experts can assist with digital services for health and human services, transportation, courts, public safety and licensing.
