Workhorse receives 100-vehicle order from Purolator

March 30, 2026 9:01 AM

Workhorse Group Inc. (NASDAQ: WKHS) announced a purchase order for 100 fully-electric step vans from Purolator, a Canadian freight and logistics company. The order will double the number of Workhorse electric vehicles in Purolator's fleet, according to a company statement.

The vehicles will be delivered throughout 2026. This marks Purolator's fourth order from Workhorse over several years, building on previous purchases made through Motiv Electric Trucks, which merged with Workhorse in late 2025.

"This is Purolator's fourth order over a number of years and an important next step in our longstanding partnership," said Scott Griffith, Chief Executive Officer at Workhorse.

Workhorse reported it has manufactured and delivered more than 1,100 electric vehicles including step vans, box trucks and shuttles that have accumulated over 20 million miles. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Union City, Indiana, with capacity to produce more than 5,000 vehicles annually on a single shift.

The company stated that 10 of the largest medium-duty truck fleets in North America have deployed Workhorse vehicles, including Purolator, Vestis, and Cintas.
