Knightscope reports revenue growth amid acquisition expansion
Knightscope Inc. (NASDAQ: KSCP) reported total revenue of $11.3 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, representing a 5% increase from the previous year, according to a company statement.
Service revenue grew 7% to $8.0 million and accounted for approximately 70% of total revenue, while product revenue reached $3.4 million. The security technology company reported a net loss of $33.8 million, compared to $31.7 million in 2024.
Operating expenses increased to $29.1 million from $26.0 million in the prior year, while gross loss expanded to $4.8 million from $3.7 million in 2024. The company ended the year with $20.6 million in cash and cash equivalents, up from $11.1 million at the end of 2024.
Knightscope completed the acquisition of Event Risk LLC on February 27, 2026, which will operate as the Knightscope Security Force. The acquired company brings a workforce of more than 400 professionals to expand Knightscope's presence in the security services market.
"Based on active revenue under contract, Knightscope believes the Event Risk acquisition will significantly increase the Company's revenue in 2026 supporting expected triple-digit revenue growth," Chief Executive Officer William Santana Li stated.
The company invested approximately $30.3 million in operating activities during 2025 for product development and operational expansion, offset by $42.2 million from financing activities including equity issuances.
Knightscope continues development of its K7 autonomous security robot platform, with pilot commercialization expected in late 2026. The company also advanced development of emergency communication systems including the K1 Capsule and K1 Super Tower.
