KeyBanc analyst Matthew Gillmor reiterated an Overweight rating and $145.00 price target on Encompass Health Corp (NYSE: EHC).

The analyst commented: "Highlights from Expert Policy Call Previewing Medicare IRF Payment Rule for FY27 – Much Ado About Nothing? On Friday, we hosted a call with policy experts from Farragut Square to preview the Medicare IRF payment rule. The proposed rule will be released in ~midApril and investor anxiety around this event is high. Key highlights: 1) Farragut expects the IRF rate updates will be in the 2.5-3.0% range; 2) CMS is unlikely to include major policy changes that would negatively impact IRFs; and 3) Farragut agrees policy risks for IRFs are low given the industry structure. We came away increasingly optimistic the IRF rate proposal will be benign and believe this could serve as a positive catalyst for EHC."
