Pathward joins American Fintech Council board of directors
Pathward, N.A. (NASDAQ: CASH) has been appointed to the board of directors of the American Fintech Council, the trade association announced. Pathward President Anthony Sharett will represent the national bank on the board.
The American Fintech Council describes itself as the largest industry association representing financial technology companies and banks. The organization has over 150 member companies and partners.
"As a dedicated AFC member for many years, Pathward has already made a significant impact on AFC and the fintech industry by helping us shape responsible financial initiatives," said Phil Goldfeder, CEO of the American Fintech Council.
Pathward operates as a subsidiary of Pathward Financial, Inc. and provides banking platform services to fintech companies and payment innovators. The bank's services include card issuing, merchant acquiring, digital payments sponsorship, and various financing solutions for businesses.

The bank offers working capital, equipment financing, and structured finance solutions to businesses, according to the announcement based on a press release from Pathward.
