Clearwater Paper Corporation (NYSE: CLW) launched Velora, a lightweight folding carton paperboard designed for everyday packaging applications. The Spokane, Washington-based company positioned the product as an alternative to premium grades for converters and brand owners seeking reliable packaging performance.

The paperboard targets folding carton and foodservice applications, featuring lower basis weights across the caliper range. Velora combines an optimized fiber blend intended to deliver strength and printability while reducing material costs per carton.

The product complements the company's premium Candesce brand while providing customers a domestic option in the lightweight segment.
