Immersion Corporation faces potential NASDAQ delisting over late filings
Immersion Corporation (NASDAQ: IMMR) received an additional delinquency notice from Nasdaq staff on March 24, 2026, regarding its failure to file quarterly reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission on time.
The haptic technology company has not filed quarterly reports for the periods ended July 31, 2025, October 31, 2025, and January 31, 2026. The notice indicates these filing delays could serve as grounds for delisting from Nasdaq.
The company requested a hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel, which took place on March 26, 2026. Immersion sought additional time to comply with listing requirements, though there is no guarantee the panel will grant the request.
Immersion has since filed its annual report for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2025, on March 12, 2026, and its quarterly report for the quarter ended July 31, 2025, on March 26, 2026. The company stated it is working to complete the remaining two quarterly reports as soon as possible.
The delinquency notice does not immediately affect trading or result in delisting of the company's securities. Immersion provides touch feedback technology for mobile devices, gaming systems, and automotive applications.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
