E-Power partners with Raytel for AI data center optical modules
E-Power Inc. (NASDAQ: EPOW) announced a strategic partnership with Raytel Electronics to develop 800G and 1.6T high-speed optical modules for North American AI data centers. The collaboration combines Raytel's optical communication technology with E-Power's power solutions.
The partnership will introduce 800G OSFP/QSFP-DD and 1.6T DR8/LPO optical modules designed for AI clusters. These products target ultra-low power consumption and high-density environments to reduce operational overhead in large-scale GPU installations.
Raytel brings a product roadmap including 400G, 800G, and 1.6T LPO/CPO solutions for transmission distances of 50 meters to 500 meters. The companies will focus on deploying these modules within the United States market.
The partnership establishes a joint technical task force to integrate Raytel's optical hardware with E-Power's energy management systems. This integration aims to enhance data center power usage effectiveness.

E-Power manufactures graphite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries through a joint venture with a 50,000-ton production facility in Guizhou Province, China. Raytel Electronics specializes in high-speed optical communication modules for AI data center applications, offering solutions from 100G to 1.6T.
