RH (NYSE: RH) appointed Veronica Schnitzius as President, Chief Manufacturing & Sourcing Officer, the company announced. Schnitzius will lead efforts to build a global manufacturing platform combining owned, joint-ventured, and outsourced manufacturing for RH's furniture business, which represents 80% of brand revenues.

The strategy aims to establish a vertically integrated model similar to luxury brands that maintain control over manufacturing, quality and capacity of their core business operations.

Schnitzius joins RH after a 24-year career at American Leather, a furniture manufacturer and RH partner since 2014. She started at American Leather in 2002 as a Plant Engineer and served as President since 2017. Her previous roles included Plant Manager, Vice President of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer.

Schnitzius holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and a BS in Production Engineering from EAFIT University in Medellin, Colombia. She will report to Friedman and serve on the company's Executive Leadership Team.

RH operates as a curator of design in the luxury lifestyle market across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe through retail galleries, sourcebooks and online platforms.
